Football Game Preview: Severna Park vs. Old Mill

Severna Park are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Old Mill on Friday at 6:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Severna Park, but that can only make success all the sweeter.

Severna Park ended up a good deal behind Broadneck when they played last Friday, losing 17-34. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Severna Park.

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Old Mill and Meade. Old Mill took their contest against Meade by a conclusive 39-6 score. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-0.

Old Mill's win lifted them to 2-1 while Severna Park's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Old Mill's success rolls on or if Severna Park are able to steal their positive momentum.
