Volleyball Game Preview: Axtell Wildcats vs. Bertrand Vikings

The Axtell Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Bertrand Vikings on Tuesday. Axtell will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Axtell beat Southern Valley 2-0.

Axtell easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Bertrand posted their closest win since September 13th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Loomis 2-1.

Bertrand's victory bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Axtell, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Axtell came out on top in a nail-biter against Bertrand when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
