Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Notre Dame Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Giuliana Dito. The Notre Dame Academy Gators strolled past the Fontbonne Hall Academy Bonnies with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-47 thanks in part to Dito, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 17 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Ava Manzella, who posted five points in addition to seven boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.

Notre Dame Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Fontbonne Hall Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kennedy Catholic the next time they take the court. Fontbonne Hall Academy will host Kennedy Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Notre Dame Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
