Recap: Desert View Jaguars vs. Cienega Bobcats
The Desert View Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 20th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Cienega, falling 76-36. Desert View has struggled against the Bobcats recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Cienega's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Moore led the charge by scoring 17 points along with five steals. Jaden Rodgers was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight steals.
Desert View's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Cienega, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert View and the Eagles will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
