Softball Recap: Oak Hill Red Devils vs. Greenbrier East Spartans
Oak Hill suffered their biggest loss since April 5th on Monday. They came up short against the Greenbrier East Spartans, falling 12-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 on April 5th.
Sadie Branch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kennedy King, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
This is the second loss in a row for Oak Hill and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Greenbrier East, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8.
