Basketball Recap: Garrard County Comes Up Short

Garrard County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-43 loss at the hands of the Danville Christian Academy Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Golden Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Warriors are ranked 30th).

Garrard County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Danville Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Garrard County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Danville Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Boyle County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Danville Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Boyle County likes a good challenge.
