Maury is a perfect 10-0 against Norcom since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Commodores will square off against the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. Maury is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Maury came up short against Godwin and fell 11-6. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Commodores, who until this contest were averaging 3.07 runs allowed.

Landen Hall was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as he's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Lee Garris was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Norcom's offense. They came up short against Granby on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maury's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Norcom, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Maury got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against Norcom by a conclusive 24-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
