Lawrence North extended their postseason success on Saturday against Pendleton Heights. They snuck past the Pendleton Heights Arabians with a 60-54 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Leading Lawrence North to victory were Keadriah Butler and Kya Hurt. Butler went 6-for-13 to rack up 20 points and six rebounds, while Hurt went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Naja Winston, who posted seven points and three steals.

Pendleton Heights' loss came despite strong showings from Adah Hupfer and Kaycie Warfel. Hupfer dropped a double-double with 17 points and 17 boards, while Warfel scored 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and eight steals. The match was Warfel's 36th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Jones, who put up eight points along with seven boards and five assists.

Lawrence North's record now sits at 16-8. As for Pendleton Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

Looking ahead, Lawrence North will take on Gibson Southern at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gibson Southern will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lawrence North surely won't give up without a fight. Pendleton Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
