While Hempfield's win against Hershey wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Trojans 4-2. The Black Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans on Monday, too.

Kali Peifer made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Peifer was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Peifer wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Ernst, who went 1-for-4 with three runs. Another was Chloe Diener, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
