The North Brunswick Scorpions will challenge the West Bladen Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Brunswick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Friday, North Brunswick didn't have quite enough to beat White Oak and fell 6-5.

Ava Moore was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Adrianna Gomez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, West Bladen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against East Columbus, falling 10-0.

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for West Bladen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

North Brunswick was able to grind out a solid victory over West Bladen in their previous matchup last Thursday, winning 7-2. Does North Brunswick have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Bladen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
