Football Recap: Cedartown Skates Past Berkmar with Ease + How To Watch

Cedartown's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Berkmar Patriots 48-13. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Patriots are ranked 361st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jakobe Dorsey had a dynamite game, rushing for 274 yards and four scores while picking up 13.0 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Rohan Kent, who rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

The win got Cedartown back to even at 1-1. As for Berkmar, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cedartown has already played their next game, a 34-31 loss against Alexander on the 28th. As for Berkmar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-8 defeat against Peach County on the 29th.
