Volleyball Recap: Lawndale Takes a Loss

After flying high against Environmental Charter last Wednesday, Lawndale came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the Leuzinger Olympians on Thursday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Olympians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Lawndale's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Leuzinger, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-4-1.

Coincidentally, Lawndale and Leuzinger will both be playing Hawthorne the next time they take the court. The Olympians will head out to face the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cardinals will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
