Soccer Recap: Morton Comes Up Short

Morton lost against Loyd Star back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 2-1. Morton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Loyd Star, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Morton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against North Pike on the 13th. As for Loyd Star, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Mendenhall on the 13th.
