Softball Recap: Sipsey Valley Finds Home Field Redemption Against Fort Payne

There's no place like home for Sipsey Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Fort Payne Wildcats 8-6. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Ella Kate Lyons, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those runs marked the first that she's scored this season. Another player making a difference was Jules Lindsey, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
