Chino is 8-2 against Ontario since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cowboys will host the Jaguars at 3:30 p.m.

Chino is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Diamond Ranch just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 6-3 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Ontario hadn't done well against Chaffey recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Jaguars walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Tigers. Surprisingly, this marked the Jaguars' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Angelina Garcia made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. Garcia was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Natalie Serna was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Melanie Carillo, who went 2-for-5 with three runs and one double.

Chino's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Ontario, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Chino took their victory against Ontario in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
