Softball Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

Napoleon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Springport, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pirates fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Spartans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Napoleon has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Springport, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Napoleon has already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Ida on the 26th. As for Springport, they will challenge Union City at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
