Baseball Recap: Elkhart Lions vs. Westview Warriors
After flying high against Culver Academies on Saturday, Elkhart came back down to earth. The Lions fell 12-8 to the Westview Warriors on Tuesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Lions, who until this contest were averaging 3.75 runs allowed.
Elkhart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brodey Weaver, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and two doubles.
