If Lincoln-Way Central heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Lincoln-Way West took over last week. The Warriors had just enough and edged out Homewood-Flossmoor 4-3 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Lincoln-Way West have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Stagg by a score of 1-0.

Lincoln-Way Central's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Lincoln-Way West, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-1.
