Softball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Takes a Loss

Mishawaka Marian fell victim to Elkhart and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Lions. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Lions when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mishawaka Marian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Milligan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Mishawaka Marian's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Elkhart, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Mishawaka Marian will challenge Brandywine at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Elkhart, they will host Mishawaka at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
