Narrows had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 on April 3rd.

Narrows' victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Parry McCluer, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
