Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chamblee). They really took it to the Arabia Mountain Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-3 win. With the Bulldogs ahead 28-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Chamblee found their leader in sophomore Brayden Doss, who rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 268 yards and three TDs on only 18 passes. Those 150 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Doss. Kyle Oglesby got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Chamblee was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Chamblee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jack Robinson, Isaiah Cowan, and Oglesby picked up one apiece. Robinson is becoming a predictor of Chamblee's success: when he posts at least one interception the team is 2-1 (and 2-5 when he doesn't). Oglesby got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Chamblee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.5 points on average over those games. As for Arabia Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

After each having a week off, Chamblee and Roswell will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
