Basketball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. James couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Doniphan Dons by a score of 51-49 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since December 2, 2024.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Doniphan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season.

As of now, neither St. James nor Doniphan have any future games scheduled.
