Baseball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Northern Burlington Greyhounds on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Riverside has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Northern Burlington, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Riverside will head out to square off against Pemberton at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northern Burlington, they will challenge Lawrence at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Greyhounds 1.5, the Cardinals 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
