Sierra had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Riverdale Cowboys 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chieftains also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sierra was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-5.

Mia Bautista paced Sierra's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bautista got some help from Nicole Gibson and her 11 assists. Kinley Ferguson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Sierra's win bumped their record up to 29-11. As for Riverdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Sierra didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Caruthers on the 16th. As for Riverdale, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Minarets on the 16th.
