Hempstead proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Hempstead were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Edwin Argueta-Reyes, who's now up to six this season.

Hempstead picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
