Basketball Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Marshall Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 52-27 to the Pineview Christian Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stallions have suffered against the Warriors since December 7, 2021.

Pineview Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charli White, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Grace Self, who went 7 for 11 en route to 17 points and six assists.

Marshall Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pineview Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Marshall Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Rocket City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pineview Christian will host First Assembly Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
