Von Steuben entered their tilt with Rickover Naval on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Seadragons. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Von Steuben had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Von Steuben's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Rickover Naval, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Von Steuben will take on Lane Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rickover Naval, they will face off against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
