Basketball Recap: Broome Extends Winning Streak to Four

Broome had won three straight games and Kourtney Wofford did her part to make it four on Friday. The Broome Centurions walked away with a 46-33 victory over the Mountain View Prep Stars thanks in part to Wofford, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (56%).

Another player making a difference was Dakota Mitchell, who posted ten points along with eight boards and four steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 25 times she's played.

Broome's record now sits at 15-10. As for Mountain View Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Looking ahead, Broome will head out to square off against Chapman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapman is on a four-game streak of home wins, Broome a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
