Football Recap: Northern Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 47 points the game before, Northern Guilford was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 33-10 to the East Forsyth Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Nighthawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Eagles are ranked tenth).

East Forsyth got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cannen Rottweiler out in front who rushed for 133 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Jaire Richburg was in the mix as well, providing the Eagles with two scores.

Northern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Forsyth, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Northern Guilford will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Forsyth, they are taking a road trip to take on Grimsley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
