Dowagiac put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Niles Vikings get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Chieftains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Charleigh Reed was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlie Carpenter, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Dowagiac pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Niles, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Dowagiac will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair will be back at it again later today.
