Baseball Recap: White House Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

White House proved they can win big last Monday (they won by ten) and on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Macon County Tigers 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

White House pushed their record up to 14-13-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Macon County, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-14.

White House does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Macon County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-5 victory against Greenbrier on the 4th.
