Basketball Recap: Apalachee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mountain View on Tuesday, Apalachee came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 73-60 to the Flowery Branch Falcons on Saturday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Apalachee now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Flowery Branch, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Apalachee will venture away from home to face off against East Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Flowery Branch, they will host Jackson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
