Volleyball Recap: North Star Takes a Loss

North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Belt Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While North Star ultimately came up short, they really made Belt work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-19.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Belt, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

North Star does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Belt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hays-Lodge Pole at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
