            Softball Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Twin Lakes Indians        
        
		
        
        
            While Delphi Community's  win against Twin Lakes wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Oracles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-4  victory over the Indians  on Friday. The  win continues a trend for the Oracles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won five in a row.

 Mairi Cunningham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and two unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Sami Leopard was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Emma Titus, who  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
The  victory  got Delphi Community back to even at 6-6. As for Twin Lakes, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delphi Community will challenge Clinton Prairie at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Twin Lakes, they will square off against Lafayette Central Catholic at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
