Soccer Game Preview: Luling vs. Hondo

The Luling Eagles are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on the Hondo Owls at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

Luling is leaving town to face Hondo after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Luling might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Waelder an easy 7-1 victory. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Eagles were already down 3-0.

Their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for Hondo, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (4-12-4), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.
