Soccer Recap: Griswold Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Griswold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Ledyard Colonels, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Griswold can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Ledyard are ranked 23rd).

Griswold's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Ledyard, their win bumped their record up to 9-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Griswold will venture away from home to challenge Killingly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ledyard, they will take on Woodstock Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
