Volleyball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Midlakes Screaming Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Screaming Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Midlakes, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wayne will take on rival North Rose-Wolcott at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Midlakes is set to face off against their familiar foe Pavilion at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
