Mater Dei entered their tilt with Cor Jesu Academy on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chargers. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Cor Jesu Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Mater Dei will take on Mascoutah in a tournament on Saturday. As for Cor Jesu Academy, they will take on Nerinx Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
