Basketball Recap: Etowah Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Etowah can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 48-33 to the Hokes Bluff Eagles. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Etowah's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Hokes Bluff, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.

As of now, neither Etowah nor Hokes Bluff have any future games scheduled.
