Volleyball Recap: Clear Brook Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clear Brook lost against Friendswood back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Clear Brook was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Friendswood's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 25-20.

Clear Brook's offense was headlined by Audrey Sebring and Madison Groves, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Josie Hines and her six assists.

Clear Brook's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Friendswood, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Clear Brook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Cypress Falls on the 29th. As for Friendswood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Hallsville on the 28th.
