Mt. Pleasant lost against Middletown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kilties fell 23-16 to the Islanders. On the bright side, the 16- point effort marked the Kilties' highest-scoring contest to date.

Mt. Pleasant is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Middletown, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant will take on Coventry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middletown, they will challenge Cranston East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
