La Serna is 10-0 against Santa Fe since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The La Serna Lancers will host the Santa Fe Chiefs  at 5:00  p.m. La Serna will be strutting in after a  victory while Santa Fe will be coming in after a  defeat.
La Serna is headed into the  game having not lost since December 30 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let California onto the board and left with  a   4-0  win  on Thursday. Considering the Lancers have won six contests by more than two  goals this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
They hit California with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Mia Ojeda,  Rose Salmons,  Codi Kowalsky,  and  Natalia Marquez.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to six  goals the game before, Santa Fe was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Monday. They lost  8-1 to El Rancho. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings  (they are ranked 318th, while the Dons  are ranked 124th).
 La Serna has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-7-2 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one  goal over those nine  contests. As for Santa Fe, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8-1 record  this season.
