Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ripken Birdwell stepped things up a notch to give Hooks the 'W'. Birdwell threw for 201 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes. The performance also marked the most passer rating (149.8) he has had since back in October of 2024.

Birdwell and Hooks will challenge Timpson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will enter the matchup having just beaten Wolfe City, so the Hornets will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
