Golden Plains has gone 9-1 against Rawlins County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Golden Plains Bulldogs will square off against the Rawlins County Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Rawlins County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Golden Plains, who comes in off a win.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Golden Plains came out on top. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Northern Valley on Friday, sneaking past 40-38. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Rawlins County played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Quinter, falling 80-50. The Buffaloes were down 64-44 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Golden Plains will have to contain Camden Franklin as she made an impact in Rawlins County's last game. She went 8-for-13 en route to 23 points. Franklin is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 16 games she's played. Tayten Dewey was another key player, putting up five points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Golden Plains' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Rawlins County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Golden Plains took a serious blow against Rawlins County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 56-21. Can Golden Plains avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
