The Carbon Hill Bulldogs will take on the Oak Mountain Eagles in a tournament on Saturday. Carbon Hill is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Friday just wasn't the day for Carbon Hill's offense. They fell 5-0 to Sumiton Christian on Friday.

Carbon Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Goolsby, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Those hits marked the first that Goolsby got this season.

Meanwhile, Oak Mountain earned a 5-1 win over Cordova on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Kelsey Crain looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
