Sultana's and Apple Valley's contest on Wednesday was close at halftime, but Sultana turned on the heat in the second half with four goals. The Sultana Sultans blew past the Apple Valley Sun Devils 5-1. The Sultans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Apple Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jared Hernandez (2), Nathaniel Guzman, Andrew Loza, and Edgar Melesio.

The victory was the third in a row for Sultana, bringing their record for this year to 15-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Apple Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9-4 record.
