St. John's Christian Academy came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Dillon Christian, but Jordan Blackmon wouldn't allow it. The Warriors blew past the Cavaliers 39-13 on Friday for which the team can thank Blackmon, who rushed for 120 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 157 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Dillon Christian's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

Dillon Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
