Volleyball Game Preview: Berean Christian Eagles vs. Alhambra Bulldogs

The Berean Christian Eagles will challenge the Alhambra Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Berean Christian beat Concord 3-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Berean Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.

Alhambra not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th. They blew past Mt. Diablo 3-0.

Alhambra's got stronger as the match went on, holding Mt. Diablo to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-15.

The win got Alhambra back to even at 7-7. As for Berean Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
