Shorecrest hadn't done well against Shorewood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Scots came out on top against the Stormrays by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Scots: when they faced off against the Stormrays back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Shorecrest and bumps their season record up to 4-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-9 Lynnwood and 6-7 Shorewood. As for Shorewood, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shorecrest will face off against rival Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shorewood is set to square off against their familiar foe Lynnwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
