Volleyball Recap: South Lafourche Beats Willow for Their Seventh Straight Win

South Lafourche waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Willow Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 25-17.

South Lafourche was led to victory by Jolie Callais and Addison Rodrigue. Callais had seven digs and five aces, while Rodrigue had six digs and three aces. Rodrigue has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: South Lafourche was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last four matchups.

South Lafourche's record now sits at 31-8. As for Willow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-11.

Coming up, South Lafourche will challenge Natchitoches Central on Thursday. Willow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
